Pros

Great playmaking ability, vision, and positioning

Touré excels as a midfield orchestrator, reading the game brilliantly and positioning himself perfectly to control the tempo. His vision allows him to make game-changing passes and dictate the play with ease.

Great speed, acceleration, and max stamina

For a central midfielder, his pace is excellent, allowing him to cover ground quickly in both attack and defense. His max stamina ensures he can maintain high energy levels throughout the match, making him effective from start to finish.

Deadly long-range shooting and powershots

With his strong foot, Touré’s long shots and powershots are incredibly powerful and accurate, rarely missing the target. His shooting ability makes him a serious goal threat from outside the box.

Reliable finishing with both feet

Despite having a 4-star weak foot, his finishing ability remains highly consistent, allowing him to score effectively with either foot in most situations.

Excellent dribbling and ball control

While he may not be the smoothest dribbler, Touré still feels quick and responsive. His reactions are outstanding, allowing him to maintain control under pressure and execute sharp turns when needed.

Top-tier defensive ability

Touré is not just an attacking powerhouse—his defensive skills are also elite. His standing tackles are particularly impressive, and his man-marking ability ensures he is always tracking his opponents effectively.

Brilliant passing and ball distribution

His passing is highly accurate, whether it’s short, long, or through passes. His pinpoint crossing and overall ability to distribute the ball make him a key playmaker in midfield.

Unbelievable physicality at 6’2”

Touré’s physical presence is unmatched. His strength allows him to dominate duels, hold off opponents, and win battles both in midfield and in defensive situations.

Important traits that enhance his gameplay

Touré possesses key traits such as long shot taker, finesse shot, playmaker, flair, and outside foot shot, making him even more effective in various attacking and midfield roles.

Cons

4-star weak foot is a slight drawback

As a central midfielder, he is often required to score from different angles. While his weak foot is still reliable, a 5-star weak foot would have made him even more complete in terms of finishing consistency. However, this is only a minor issue.

Conclusion

Yaya Touré is an outstanding midfielder with elite playmaking, shooting, and defensive abilities. His combination of pace, stamina, and physical dominance makes him a nearly perfect CM. Despite the slight limitation of a 4-star weak foot, he remains one of the best all-around midfielders in the game, excelling in both attacking and defensive roles.
