Excellent Pace
For a center-back, Militão has outstanding pace. His acceleration helps him recover quickly, and he can make unbelievable chasing runs against fast attackers. This makes him extremely reliable in high defensive lines or counter-heavy matches.
Strong Man Marking
He stays tight on attackers, rarely giving them room to turn. His pressure is constant and effective, and he tracks runs intelligently, especially during quick transitions.
Perfect Positioning and Interceptions
Militão reads the game exceptionally well. His positioning is almost always on point, allowing him to shut down passing lanes and step in for clean interceptions. Whether in a compact backline or open-field situations, he maintains defensive structure.
Reliable Height and Physicality
At 6.1, he has a very dependable presence. He’s physically strong, holds his ground in duels, and can outmuscle most forwards. His balance and body control make him tough to beat in shoulder challenges.
High-Level Defending
