Pros
Elite agility and dribbling
Garrincha’s agility is absolutely insane - he feels incredibly light, smooth, and responsive on the ball. His ball control and dribbling are unbelievable, allowing him to weave through defenders effortlessly. Every touch feels precise and sharp, and his body feints are extremely effective in one-on-one situations.
Explosive pace
He’s extremely fast, with outstanding acceleration and sprint speed. Garrincha reaches top speed instantly after receiving the ball, making him a nightmare for defenders to catch. His quick bursts down the wing are deadly, and he feels very responsive in transition plays.
Clinical finishing and shooting
Despite having a 4* weak foot, Garrincha’s finishing is surprisingly consistent with both feet. His shooting is very reliable inside and around the box, and his long-range powershots are excellent on his strong foot. Weak-foot long shots are less consistent, but close-range efforts remain effective.
Exceptional passing and crossing
His passing, crossing, and through balls are top-tier - consistently accurate and well-timed. He’s an excellent creator for forwards, especially when cutting inside or delivering whipped crosses.
Perfect stamina and 5* skill moves
With perfect stamina, Garrincha can perform at a high level throughout the match. His 5* skill moves make him even deadlier in attack, combining flair and precision to beat defenders easily.
Versatility
He can also play as a RM without any OVR drop, offering flexibility in both wide and central attacking roles.
Useful traits
Has Flair and Powerful Driven Free Kick traits, enhancing his creativity and ability to score from set pieces.
Cons
Physical weakness
At 5.7, Garrincha benefits from better agility and movement, but he often struggles physically. Against strong defenders, he can lose the ball easily in shoulder-to-shoulder duels. However, his quick turns and movement often compensate for this weakness.
Work rate
His work rate (medium attacking, low defending) isn’t ideal. Occasionally, he fails to make forward runs or track back, though it doesn’t heavily impact his attacking performance.
