Riise Player Review

Pros
Strong Pace
Riise is very quick for a LB, with impressive sprint speed and acceleration that allow him to handle wingers and push forward effectively.
Height and Physicality
At 6.2 he has an excellent physical profile for a fullback. He feels strong in duels, holds his ground, and rarely gets bullied, making him reliable in both defensive and transitional situations.
Brilliant Defending
His defending is consistently solid. Standing tackles are strong and clean, while sliding tackles are dependable when covering space or stopping counters. His man marking is sharp, and his positioning and interceptions help him break down attacks early.
Good Dribbling and Ball Control
His dribbling and ball control are surprisingly good for a LB. He isn’t the smoothest on the ball, but he can still move effectively in tight spaces and carry the ball forward when needed.
Attacking Contribution
With high attacking and medium defending work rate, he offers a lot going forward. His overlapping runs are constant, supported by max stamina which lets him push up and recover without fading.
Excellent Passing and Crossing
His passing and crossing ability are top tier for a fullback. He can deliver early crosses, accurate driven balls, and clean switches of play, making him dangerous in wide attacking transitions.
Strong Shooting Ability
Riise can hit powerful and accurate shots with his strong foot, adding an unexpected scoring threat from distance.
Helpful Traits
Long Shot Taker, Long Thrower, Powerful Driven Free Kick, and Early Crosser are all extremely useful traits for a LB, improving his overall impact in attack and set pieces.
Cons
Work Rate Risk
High attacking and medium defending work rate means he occasionally leaves gaps in the defensive line, especially during quick counters.
Limited Skill Moves
Only 3* skill moves restrict him in some attacking situations where more creativity or quick escape options are needed.
Weak Foot
With just 3* wf he can sometimes miss passes and may be unreliable in certain finishing or tight-angle plays.
Conclusion
Riise is an excellent attacking LB with pace, strength, elite crossing, and powerful shooting. His defending is very reliable, and his physical presence is a big advantage. The only concerns are the work rate balance, limited 3* sm, and 3* wf, but overall he remains a top-tier fullback who can impact both ends of the pitch with consistency.
