Cantona Player Review

Pros
Strong Pace and Acceleration
Cantona has very good speed for a forward of his size. His acceleration helps him break into space quickly, and once he gets moving, he carries momentum well in attacking transitions.
Reliable Ball Control and Dribbling
His close control is smooth and composed. He can shield the ball, hold possession under pressure, and move through tight areas with confidence. His dribbling is effective, especially in straight-line drives or controlled touches around defenders.
Top Tier Finishing
Cantona finishes superbly with both feet. Inside the box he is clinical, and his long shots with his strong foot are powerful and accurate. He consistently converts clear chances and can score from distance when given space.
Special Traits
He comes with several impactful traits such as Long Shot Taker, Playmaker, Outside Foot Shot, and Flair. These boost his creativity, shooting variety, and unpredictability in the final third.
Physical Presence
Standing at 6.2, Cantona is dominant physically. He holds off defenders with ease, wins duels, and is extremely hard to push off the ball. His physicality makes him a perfect link-up forward.
Great Positioning and Build-Up Play
His attacking positioning is sharp. He drops into pockets effectively, supports midfielders, and helps maintain possession during build-up. He is always available for layoffs or quick combinations.
Reliable Passing
Cantona’s short passing, long passing, and through balls are very consistent for a striker. He can create openings and set up runners with accurate distribution.
Good Stamina and 5* Skill Moves
His stamina allows him to stay active for the full match, and the 5 skill moves add creativity, making him more dangerous in 1v1 situations and unpredictable in tight spaces.
Cons
Lacks Agility
Even with good dribbling stats, he doesn’t feel very agile in game. His turns are slow, he feels heavy in transitions, and he doesn’t have that sharp responsiveness elite agile attackers possess.
Weak Foot Accuracy Variability
While generally capable with both feet, some tight-angle finishes or long-range efforts with his weaker side can be inconsistent.
Suboptimal Default Skill Point
Target Forward isn’t ideal for his style. He would be far more effective with False 9 or Poacher.
Conclusion
Cantona is a physically dominant and technically gifted forward with excellent finishing, strong passing, and high-impact traits. He offers great link-up play, strength, and creativity thanks to his 5 skill moves. However, his lack of agility and occasional weak foot inconsistency hold him back slightly, and the Target Forward skill point isn’t the perfect fit for him.
