Division Rivals Update Highlights
Visual Overhaul: The Division Rivals menu now has a fresh, modern design. You can easily access your team, rewards, and locker room customization. Division Rivals seasons will now be linked with ongoing campaigns like Aqua vs Inferno.
New Stars System: The old Cups and Fans system has been replaced with Stars. Each Division requires 3 Stars to rank up, and you can now earn Bonus Points from matches to help you gain Stars faster. Losing matches results in Star loss unless you have Star Shields to protect your progress.
Bonus Points System
Win = 1 Star + 3 Points
Draw = 0 Star + 2 Points
Loss = -1 Star + 1 Point
Star Shields: These shields prevent Star loss and can be earned via Star Pass or promotions.
End-of-Season Relegation: At the end of each DR season, players drop 5 ranks, but not below Professional V.
Match & Promotion Rewards: Every win and promotion gives you better rewards based on your current Division. Season rewards are now refreshed regularly.
Daily Activity Rewards: Play matches in different game modes to claim extra daily rewards and event currencies.
Weekly Leaderboards: Players are grouped randomly to compete weekly for top spots. New custom logos are also available.
These features were tested earlier in a beta version, and now they are officially being implemented along with refreshed Division Rivals season rewards.
Aqua vs Inferno Main Event Breakdown
After the Rivals update discussion, the stream shifted focus to the main event, Aqua vs Inferno, which officially begins this Thursday. This is a month-long event featuring four chapters: Main, Skill Master, Reward, and Gallery.
Main Chapter
Players must choose between Team Aqua or Team Inferno. Based on this choice, certain objectives and milestone rewards will unlock. Your progress and loyalty will be tracked across the event.
Skill Master Chapter
Complete various skill games to collect Stars. These Stars will be used to unlock milestone rewards in this chapter. You’ll also earn Aqua vs Inferno Tokens which will be used later.
Reward Chapter
Use your tokens here to tap tiles on a colorful tile board. Tiles will reveal paint splashes of different colors. More importantly, unlocking these tiles progresses you along a reward path filled with valuable rewards. The more tiles you open, the better the prizes.
Gallery Chapter
Just like previous events, all Aqua vs Inferno players will be available here to claim using TOTS Shards. Each week, new players will be added to the gallery, keeping the content fresh.
