FC Mobile Captains Event Stream Recap
With the massive Ragnarok event nearing its end, EA officially revealed its next big event - Captains. To give players a full overview, EA hosted another official live stream across their channels, this time led by Antwan and Tak. The stream covered the complete Captains event guide, new ICONs, rewards, exchanges, and a few important game updates. Here’s a full recap.
The event is structured around 5 chapters
Main Chapter
This is the overview hub of the event. It tracks your progress, milestones, and also features a Live OVR tracker for the new ICONs. EA confirmed that three legendary ICONs are making their debut: Francesco Totti, Andrés Iniesta, and Chiellini. Each of these cards will have Live OVR upgrades based on certain real-life match requirements, which were mentioned in the stream.
Totti Chapter (First ICONs Chapter)
Each week a new ICON-focused chapter will arrive. The first week is dedicated to Totti, followed by Iniesta, and then Chiellini. These chapters feature skill games and matches inspired by their careers. Completing these unlocks themed rewards like the Totti armband and logo. Players will also earn Captains Tokens and small side rewards by finishing the tasks in these chapters.
Rewards Chapter
This is where the Captains Tokens are put to use. The first section includes a special pick between Totti, Iniesta, and Chiellini - three new Live OVR ICONs. To claim one, players need 1500 Captains Tokens. EA stressed the importance of choosing wisely since the OVR upgrades depend on real-world performances and criteria.
Additionally, a Rewards Path will unlock gradually over four weeks: Totti, Iniesta, Chiellini, and finally Dunga. Each path contains multiple rewards and requires Captains Tokens to progress.
A Great Armbands Collector Milestone is also included. By collecting all four armbands (from the ICONs chapters), players can unlock a special 108-111 OVR pack.
Gallery Chapter
Similar to past events, this chapter will feature rotating cards across different OVR ranges. Players can use shards to unlock them. Each week, new cards will be added to the gallery.
Greatest Captains Chapter
This section contains some of the best exclusive cards in the event. These players won’t be available through packs or exchanges anywhere else - only here. There are two ways to obtain them
Captains Choice Pack: Costs 1950 FC Points per 10x pull. After 80 total purchases (done through 10x pulls), players will be guaranteed one Greatest Captains card.
Shard Purchase: One Greatest Captain can also be directly claimed by spending 4000 shards.
Additional Updates and Exchanges
A new Kompany 106 OVR exchange will be added, alongside a special Manchester City retro kit. The requirements will be easy, making this a quick grab for most players.
Other exchanges tied to Captains will also appear throughout the event.
Special Captains-themed store offers will go live.
League Rewards & Division Rivals Updates
The League store will see new players: 110 OVR ICON Zambrotta (for 60k league tokens) and 108 OVR Al Jaber (for 30k tokens).
Division Rivals rewards will also be updated to align with the Captains theme.
Next Event Teaser & Beta Version
At the end of the stream, EA teased the upcoming Anniversary event, though only slightly. They confirmed a beta version will soon be available on the Play Store for Android users, while iOS users will get access through special links. Redeem codes were also shared during the live stream.
