New Icons and Heroes Confirmed

From the beginning of FIFA Mobile, fans have enjoyed using some of the greatest football legends in the game, either as Icons or Heroes. Over time, several legendary players like Maradona, Pelé, and others were introduced but later removed due to licensing issues. However, after strong community feedback, many of them returned. The transition from FIFA Mobile to FC Mobile also brought fresh additions to the Icons and Heroes lineup.

Recently, the comeback of Toni Kroos and Zlatan Ibrahimović was announced through the Defining Legacies event, Zlatan Chronicles and exchanges. This return was met with huge excitement, especially since Kroos had retired in May 2024 and his cards were removed around August 2024. Now in July 2025, both of them are back as Icons.

On 19 July, EA Sports FC Mobile’s official social media channels released a short trailer celebrating the return of Kroos and Ibrahimović. The video highlights how fans demanded their comeback. The trailer features creators and community clips, showcasing a mix of emotion and nostalgia.

But more importantly, the trailer confirmed that several more Icons and Heroes are coming soon. Their card art matches the current Ragnarok event, strongly indicating that they will be added during the ongoing event weeks.
