EA SPORTS FC Mobile has officially dropped the much-anticipated Rivals Update, bringing major improvements to the Division Rivals mode along with significant gameplay enhancements. This patch focuses on polishing the PvP experience, especially VS Attack and Passing mechanics, while also introducing a completely overhauled interface and ranking system for Division Rivals. Division Rivals Overhaul
The entire Division Rivals experience has been rebuilt from the ground up. From layout to progression, everything has been streamlined and modernized to offer a more competitive and visually immersive experience.
Redesigned Interface
A sleek new layout makes it easier to manage squads, preview rewards, and track seasonal progress.
New pre-match hub highlights your key players and ongoing Division progress.
End-of-season recap allows players to review their performance over the course of the season.
Star-Based Rank System
Cups and Fans are gone. The new Star system allows you to move up the Divisions by collecting Stars through match wins and bonus points.
Star Shields are available to protect your progress from demotion after losses.
Promotion rewards have been refreshed and will now change every Division Rivals season.
Weekly Leaderboards
Weekly Leaderboards group players together to compete for top spots based on wins.
Additional daily rewards are available just by playing matches, allowing players to earn more over time.
Upgraded Locker Room
The Locker Room now gives players greater control over club customization
Choose your home and away kits separately.
Set your club logo, name board, stadium, and even in-match emotes.
Your selected visuals will now show up on leaderboards, adding a layer of style and personalization to your competitive profile.
Gameplay Updates

Passing & Build-Up Play
Ground Passes are now more aligned with player direction, positioning, and joystick input.
Ground Through Passes lead more effectively and overshoot less frequently in tight spaces.
Driven Ground Passes are smarter, avoiding defenders based on passing angles and spacing.
VS Attack Reworks
Basic, Good, and Great Chances have been recalibrated to better reflect difficulty and fairness.
Dead play situations like missed crosses or long fouls now end quicker, helping preserve match time.
New camera settings are now available for a more customizable viewing experience.
Additional Fixes & Changes
Heel to Heel and Stepover & Exit skill moves now scale with player stats, reducing the chance of unrealistic speed boosts.
Defenders with better aerial attributes are prioritized for central positions during corners.
Camera bug after blocked free kicks has been fixed.
Division Rivals rank is now shown in the League Member Filter instead of the old Cups or Fans metric.
