Week 2 Captains Cards Revealed
The Captains Event is one of the biggest ongoing promos in FC Mobile right now, and it has sparked plenty of discussion in the community. Some players love the exclusive lineup of legends, while others have raised concerns about shard costs and accessibility.
The event is split into two different sections - Greatest Captains and Normal Captains - with each type offering a very different experience for players.
Greatest Captains

Week by week, the gallery keeps expanding with new faces. These cards are far more accessible to a wider section of players, and their shard costs are significantly lower compared to the 4,000 shards required for Greatest Captains.
The Captains event will run for a total of 5 weeks, with new cards being dropped each week, keeping the promo fresh and unpredictable.
Week 2 Official Reveal
EA teased the community with a teaser yesterday on its official social media platforms, showing glimpses of three players. Today, they dropped the official Week 2 Captains banner, confirming the lineup. These cards will be added to the Gallery Chapter and available in-game this Thursday (UTC).
Here’s a closer look at the Week 2 Captains cards revealed so far
111 OVR GK: Oliver Kahn
The legendary German goalkeeper, recently introduced to FC Mobile, now finally gets his first high-rated event card. His only previous version was a 104 OVR card in Challenge Mode, so this release gives fans a proper chance to use Kahn at the highest level.
111 OVR RW: Gareth Bale
A massive fan-favorite in the FC Mobile community, Bale finally returns with a RW card. His last release was as a striker, so this is a highly anticipated position change that will excite players looking for a fast, powerful winger with deadly finishing.
110 OVR CB: Harry Maguire
Love him or hate him, Maguire looks like a rock at the back with elite physicality and tackling stats. This card is shaping up to be one of the strongest defensive options released so far in the event.
110 OVR CM: Martin Ødegaard
Arsenal’s captain makes his way into the event with a creative midfield card. Expect strong passing, vision, and overall playmaking ability to help link up attacks.
109 OVR ST: Jarrod Bowen
The West Ham star gets a striker card, giving players another Premier League attacking option. His pace and positioning should make him effective in fast build-up systems.
108 OVR CM: Tom Cairney
A more budget-friendly option in the midfield, Cairney’s stats may not compete with the higher OVR cards, but he still provides solid balance and depth for squads.

What About Shard Costs?
While the cards are confirmed, their exact shard costs remain unannounced. These will only be revealed once the cards officially arrive in the Gallery on Thursday.
The community is already busy speculating - with many players joking about whether Bale will cost as much as a Greatest Captain or be more in line with the 1,000-1,500 shard pricing of Week 1 Normal Captains.
